How to get anything you want

Have you ever really, really wanted something to happen but it just didnt? Have you wanted to lose weight? Have you wanted to start a new fitness programme? Have you wanted to learn a new skill?

It can be so hard when you set your heart on something and it doesnt happen but there is absolutely no reason why you cant have what you want. I believe there are a few simple steps we can take to suceed at our goals and it has nothing to do with skill or luck.

You may have heard of the law of attraction, you may have heard of the phrase “i’ll see it when I believe it” but regardless of whether you believe the universe is supporting you or you believe you are the creator of your life, the main facts remain the same.

To get anything you want firstly you have to truly want it deep within you. Often we think we should want things but it may be someone else’s dream not our own. Think about something you want and then get really clear about it. You may think you want to lose weight but I want you to go deeper and think about why you want this. Do you want to lose weight so you can move more freely, have more energy, feel beautiful….

Now you need to bring feelings into it. Imagine you are at your target weight – how do you feel? How do you feel doing your daily activities? How do you feel about your body?

Have you heard the saying “fake it until you make it”? This is the third step to getting what you want but for it to work, the first two steps are key (also known as matching your vibration to the vibration of the thing you want). If you’ve decided you want to lose weight and you have imagined how you would feel you now need to work on bringing those feelings into everyday life NOW, not just when you reach your goal. If you want to feel full of energy, what can you do today to get more energy. If you want to love your body more, what can you do today to show your body how much you love it. If you are giving off a certain energy or vibration that suggests you are in a place of lack then if you did get what you wanted then chances are you would still be in that place of lack, you still wouldnt be happy. We dont reach our goals and suddenly everything is ok, true transformation comes from a deeper place.

We are so used to focusing on the problem we want to solve but how about for a week or two you focus on where you want to be when you reach your goal and see if that changes your daily actions and changes your results.
